KettleHouse Amphitheater
Legendary rocker Robert Plant and iconic Americana muso Alison Krauss are hitting the road once more, visiting the most historic venues with the Can’t Let Go Tour, and will be making a stop at the KettleHouse Amphitheatre on 9 August 2024 for an evening of breath-taking music live under the stars!
The legendary duo Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are a match made in heaven: their intoxicating and nostalgic mix of early blues, country deep cuts, revolutionary folk rock, reimagined renditions of Led Zeppelin bangers such as "The Battle of Evermore”, “Rock & Roll”, and “When The Levee Breaks”, and lost soul music written by legends and unsung heroes are guaranteed to leave the audience spellbound and in absolute awe. They will be joined by special guest JD McPherson.
Tickets are selling from only $103, so snag those front seats for the most moving vocal performance of the year!
They are music’s odd couple, but the most dynamic duo on tour: the legendary Robert Plant – one of the greatest frontmen rock has ever seen, and Alison Krauss – she sings like an angel, fiddles like the devil, and is lovely enough to tempt both.
The Can't Let Go Tour promises to be the perfect night any music lover could want: each song draws on the duo's award-winning albums, “Raising Sand” and “Raise The Roof”, as well as their deep and genuine love for blues, country, rock, rockabilly, and Americana, carefully blended and reimagined, with nothing but absolute musical magic as a result. Their spellbinding vocal performance, uncanny arrangements, and incredible mastery in dusting off generations-old classics and personalizing them culminate in the most unforgettable musical journey for all who share in it.
The award-winning Robert Plant, the frontman and lyricist of the legendary Led Zeppelin, has it all: personality, stage presence, endless charisma, extensive experience like few others, and, of course, a voice that could bring down a stadium. The iconic singer-songwriter has been rated as one of the greatest voices in rock by Rolling Stone, Planet Rock, and National Public Radio, among many others.
Alison Krauss exploded into the music industry in 1987, releasing her debut solo album at age 16. Her incredible voice, musical prowess, and raw passion made her a favorite internationally. She won 27 Grammy Awards from 44 nominations, among many other awards.
The eclectic rhythm and blues trailblazer JD McPherson will support the duo. He is best known for his retro sound, firmly rooted in classic rock and roll.
