Goose is one of those bands that has been able to do what a lot of friends dream about. The movie type of script where a group of friends makes a band, and they live the tour life! Lead singer Rick Mitarotonda had been around the block in the music world before he essentially formed Goose. Since 2014 the band has been the perfect place for him to test out all sorts of new music. Each rock band that comes together has this dream about creating unique sounds and giving off their own vibe.

There are just very few, at least on tour today, that have realized that dream as well as Goose has. They’ve been called a part of the current psychedelic rock and progressive rock movements. That’s because critics don’t necessarily know where to encapsulate this rock band with heavy electronic music influences. Those influences make the shows all the more enjoyable. Even non-fans of the band have to head to the KettleHouse Amphitheater on Thursday or Friday. You want to truly see a modern rock show? This is what it’s all about! It’s not just the electronic music vibes within the songs that make this act unique. The lights, the way they set up the stage, the fact that many of the songs start with Peter Anspach on the keyboards and at some point in the show Trevor Weekz hits you with some poetry.

This is one of those shows that you have to be there and experience it to fully grasp it. It’s like when you throw anything that you can find in a blender to make a smoothie, and it turns out amazing. Replicating it, though, is going to be impossible! They know that the live shows are their bread and butter. That’s why they’ve released so many live albums through the years. This is where you really feel what this band is about. They’ll obviously sing “Arcadia” and “So Ready” on these nights in Bonner. It’s the full show, though, that you want to go see!

If you want to have a truly great “Evening with Goose” head to the KettleHouse Amphitheater on Friday, September 20th. The seats inside the theater may allow you to capture elements of the show much better than you’ll be able to do in the lawn area in the back. Then again, the lawn area has a vibe of its own! Whatever you want to do, click the get tickets button and make sure you’re at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in September.
